PROGRESS

  • The placement of surface course of asphalt was completed on August 31, 2010.
  • Temporary center line and edge line was placed, permanent paint markings will be placed in mid September.
  • New guardrail is being installed this week. Work to be completed in September:
  • Installation of traffic signals at the Shady Road intersection and landscaping.

PROGRESS

    • Plan drainage work has been completed.
    • Widening of existing pavement has been completed.
    • Recycling of the existing asphalt pavement has commenced, this operation will continue to mid August.
    • Placement of intermediate and surface course asphalt, signalization and signage is scheduled to be completed by August 31, 2010.
    • Two-way traffic continues to be maintained throughout the duration of the project.

PROGRESS

 Sub-contractor Jatsek Construction is scheduled to begin drainage
work at the widening area in front of the Vita-Mix Plant the week
of July 4th.


 Following placement of drainage, Burton-Scot Contractors, LLC
will widen the area for placement of a turning lane.


 Two-way traffic will be maintained throughout the duration of the
construction project.

    • Surveyors from Burton Scot Contractors, LLC have started laying out the construction project.
    • Work zone signage is scheduled to be placed on Friday, June 4th.
    • Sub-contractor Trafftech is scheduled to begin placement of new traffic signals at the Shady Road intersection the week of June 7th.
    • Two-way traffic will be maintained throughout the duration of the construction project.
