PROGRESS
- APBN Inc., is finishing applying the polyurethane finish coat tothe north tower along the north side of the lift span up to the south side of the bridge tender’s office.
- Color of the finish coat is Federal color number 595B-14151 (green gloss)
- The containment on the north side of the structure has been taken down and will be placed on the south side of the bridge.
- Contractor will commence the abrasive blasting on the south side of the structure before the end of August.
- W. 3rd Street remains closed to traffic at the bridge, detour route is posted.

- APBN Inc., continues stripe coating epoxy paint on the northtower and also on the lower level of the north side of the lift span.
- Once sufficient areas have been strip coated, contractor is following up with the spraying of epoxy paint.
- Beams and cross bracing below the bridge deck on the lift span has been painted with epoxy paint.
- The two main sheaves on the north tower along with all steel above the top concrete pad has been coated with the epoxy paint.
- Painting continues on the beams, cross bracing and stairs, working toward ground elevation.
- Contractor will caulk joints between adjacent steel members once epoxy painting is completed on the enclosed portion of the lift span and the north tower.
- The bridge will be coated with an urethane finish coat Federal color number 595B-14151 (green gloss).

PROGRESS
West Bridge Street Bridge No. 256 has been closed to facilitate the
demolition and removal of the existing structure.
The closing will remain in effect throughout the demolition of the
existing structure repair and replacement of the bridge abutments and
the complete replacement of the bridge deck, sidewalks and bridge railing.
A detour route has been established.

- APBN Inc. continues to hang tarpaulin cables on the northern
tower, all four sides, scaffolding to support tarpaulin above the
pulley housings on the north tower have been erected.
- Contractor continues to wrap pulley cables, electrical cables,
electric boxes and other items that are not to be painted.
- Bridge Tenders room on lift span has been wrapped.
