FUNDING

PROGRESS

  • On Tuesday, April 15, 2008, the subcontractor began milling the existing asphalt overlay, worked on full/partial depth repairs to the existing brick/concrete base materials, and then placed an asphalt overlay using and intermediate course of material with type 2A fiber.
  • Currently, the contractor is removing existing curb, sidewalk and driveway aprons on the southeast side of the project toward Euclid Avenue.
  • Upon the removal, crew will grade, form, install, base materials and place new concrete curb, walks and aprons.
  • One-way traffic southbound is being enforced from Euclid Avenue to E. 128th Street. Detour is Euclid Avenue to superior Ave. to E. 123rd Street to Arlington back to Eddy Road.

PROGRESS

  • Construction of the new concrete curb, walks and aprons along the east side of the project has been completed. The adjustment of roadway castings has also been completed.
  • Existing curb, sidewalk and driveway aprons are currently being removed on the southwest side of the project and working toward the Cleveland Corp. Line.
  • Following the removal process, crews are grading, forming, installing base materials and placing new concrete curb, walks and aprons.
  • One-way traffic southbound from Euclid to E. 128th Street. A detour has been posted for northbound traffic: Euclid Avenue, west on Superior Avenue, north on E. 123rd Street, east on Arlington to Eddy Road.
