PROGRESS

• PHASE A & B: Construction is now completed (pavement widening and installation of curb on the north and south sides of Miles Road, including placement of the intermediate course asphalt).

• PHASE C: Construction is now in progress. This work will include adjusting of roadway castings, saw-cutting and installation of traffic oop detectors at Harper Road, Miles Road and the Farmers Market intersections and placement of pavement fabric followed by final Surface course paving and pavement striping.

Work expected in the upcoming weeks includes:

• Additional signalization work will continue during the next few months: trenching/boring of conduits, mounting of controller boxes and signal supports/mast arms and installation of pull boxes.

• Erection of manufactured block retaining wall system at the Mt. Hope Cemetery.

• Placement of new commercial/residential asphalt and concrete driveway aprons on the south side of roadway.

• Installing ADA compliant sidewalks /ramps at the Miles Rd. Harper Rd. intersection as well as the Miles Farmers Market driveway.

• During this project two-way traffic will be maintained but long delays are to be expected during working hours.
