• SECTION 1: Broadview Road to Seven Hills/Independence Corporation Line
• Repair work has now been completed on the north and south sides of the roadway.
• Vandra Brothers Construction, Inc. is expecting to take delivery of pavement fabric material for the final phase of construction can be completed in September.
• Delays should be expected during the asphalt paving operations and throughout the morning and evening rush hours. Work expected in the upcoming weeks:
• Installation of reinforced pavement fabric and asphalt concrete surface course along the entire pavement width of roadway.
• Placement of top soil and seeding for final landscaping of tree lawns.
• Install final pavement striping and restore traffic to full width pavement.
• Removal of construction barrels, maintenance of traffic signage and reprogram traffic signals back to pre-construction phases.
• Restore regular mail services to the north and south side of Pleasant Valley Road.
• Punch list items.

• Vandra Brothers Construction, Inc. continues working along the south side of Pleasant Valley Road; two-way traffic is now maintained on the intermediate asphalt base pavement in the eastbound lanes (north side of Pleasant Valley Road) Delays are to be expected during the asphalt paving operations and throughout the morning and evening rush hours.

Section 2 construction is slated of Spring 2011

• SECTION 1: Broadview Road to Seven Hills/Independence Corporation Line
• Repair work has now been completed on the north side of the road; work has now Been shifted to the south side.

• Vandra Brothers Construction, Inc. is now working along the south side of Pleasant Valley Road; two-way traffic is now maintained on the intermediate asphalt base pavement in the eastbound lanes (north side of Pleasant Valley Road).

• Delays are to be expected especially at morning and evening rush hours.

• Work expected in the upcoming weeks:
• Concrete pavement in need of full depth or partial depth repairs will be identified and marked for removal and replacement.

• Inspect existing roadway castings; rebuild and adjust to grade various manhole, catch basin and water valve castings.

• New iron casting will be used in areas as designated.
• Begin removal of existing sidewalk/curb ramps and begin layout and construction of new ADA compliant ones.

• Inspect existing pressure relief joints for repair/replacement.
• SECTION 2: Seven Hills/Independence Corporation Line to Brecksville Road
• Section 2 construction is slated for Spring 2010
