PROGRESS
- Section One (Richmond Road to Lander Road):
- All repairs and final surface course asphalt paving in this section of the roadway has been completed.
- Two-way traffic has been restored.
- Work expected in the upcoming weeks includes:
- Gutter and longitudinal joint sealing.
- Placement of concrete ADA curb ramps and walk on the north side of Lander/Ridgebury.
- Permanent short line in-laid striping: crosswalk lines, stop lines & arrows.
- Landscaping restoration and clean-up.
- Punch list items
- Section Two (from Lander Road to S.O.M. Center Road):
- Work continues along the north side of Ridgebury Blvd.
- Local one-way traffic (eastbound only) maintained on the newly placed surface course of asphalt.
- A detour route has been established for westbound motorists: SOM Center Road (north) to Wilson Mills Road (west) to Lander Road (south).
- PLEASE NOTE (WEATHER PERMITTING) TWO-WAY TRAFFIC WILL BE RESTORED ON WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 28th.
- Work expected in the upcoming weeks includes:
- Backfilling/landscaping behind curb repair areas.
- Permanent short line in-laid striping: crosswalk lines, stop lines & arrows.

- Roadway castings are raised 1.5" (ramped) in preparation of future placement of surface course.
- Work continues along the south side of Ridgebury Blvd.
- Local one-way traffic eastbound is being maintained n the newly placed intermediate asphalt on the north side of the road.
- A detour route has been established for westbound motorists: SOM Center Road (north) to Wilson Mills Road 9west) to Lander Road (south).
- Concrete curb repairs
- Placement of intermediate asphalt to repaired concrete base.
- Installation of traffic loop detectors.
- Inspect existing roadway castings and rebuild and adjust to grade various manhole, catch basin and water valve castings. New iron casting will be used in areas as designated.

- Section One, from Richmond Road to Lander Road, is scheduled to be completed by July 31, 2009.
- Section Two, from Lander Road to S.O.M. Center Road, is scheduled to begin the week of July 13, 2009.
- Local traffic is maintained one-way eastbound throughout the course of construction. Westbound motorists will be detoured to Wilson Mills Road. Weather permitting, two-way traffic will be restored in Section One at the end of July 2009.

- Work continues along the north side of Ridgebury Blvd. with local one-way traffic (Eastbound only) maintained on the newly intermediate asphalt surfaces on the south side of the roadway. A detour route has been established for Westbound motorists: Lander Road (North) to Wilson Mill Road (West) to Richmond Road (South).
Work expected in the upcoming weeks will include:

- Work continues along the south side of Ridgebury Blvd. Local one-way traffic (eastbound only) will be maintained on the existing surfaces of the north side of the road. A detour route has been established for westbound motorists: Lander Road (north) to Wilson Mills Road (west) to Richmond Road (south).
- Work to be expected in the upcoming weeks:
- Begin construction of new ADA curb ramps.
- Continue to inspect existing roadway castings, rebuild and adjust to grade various manhole, catch basin and water valve castings. New iron casting will be used in areas as designated.
- Sometime mid-June, one-way traffic will be shifted to the south side of the road so reconstruction work can take place along the north side. This work will include the removal of existing asphalt surface wearing course, identifying full depth or partial depth repairs of concrete pavement and marking these for removal and replacement.

- Work continues along the south side of Ridgebury Boulevard.
- Local one-way traffic eastbound is being maintained on the north side of the road. A detour route has been established for westbound motorists: Lander Road to Wilson Mills Road to Richmond Road.
- Will complete the removal of existing asphalt surface wearing course.
- Will identify concrete pavement in need of full depth or partial depth repairs. Then will mark them for removal and replacement.
- Begin to saw cut, remove and prepare marked pavement areas for placement of new concrete.
- Remove and inspect existing roadway castings, rebuild and adjust to grade various manhole, catch basin and water valve castings.
